BEAUMONT, TEXAS - The University of the Incarnate Word baseball team lost the series finale 8-2 to Lamar University (LU) on Sunday afternoon at Vincent-Beck Stadium. UIW got on the board first, scoring in the second on an RBI single by Ryder Hernandez. The RBI single gave the Cardinals a 1-0 lead through two.
