NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Christopher Newport University had another dominant day on the softball field Sunday, as the eighth-ranked Captains won both ends of a doubleheader over Meredith College on Senior Day at Captains Park. CNU upped its current winning streak to 11 games with a 13-0 win in the opener in five innings, and then posted an 8-0 victory in six innings in the nightcap.
