Carly Moon captures NSIC medalist honors, WSU earns runner up finish as a team
SMITHVILLE, Mo. Winona State standout Carly Moon earned individual medalist honors at the 2024 NSIC Women's Golf Tournament in Smithville, Mo. on Sunday, leading her team to a runner-up finish at Paradise Pointe. Moon became the first Winona State women's golfer to win the event since Morgan Proshek won the award in 2007. Moon carded rounds of 72-72-77 to finish at 221, 5-over-par, battling back from a third-place spot after day one to gain and hold the lead in the final 48 hours of the event.
