Franklin And Takac Combine For Shutout In Win Against High Point
HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Senior Wesley Franklin and sophomore Micah Takac combined to toss a shutout on Sunday as the Mercer Bears (23-19, 4-7 SoCon) blanked the High Point Panthers (24-21, 11-4 Big South) 8-0. Franklin started and picked up the win for Mercer, going six shutout innings while giving up five hits, walking three, and striking out two.
