Jack Power Goes Deep as Sharks Sweep Delaware State
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The LIU baseball team swept Delaware State in three games after its 4-0 win against the Hornets on Sunday afternoon. Benjamin Fierenzi's two-run single in the sixth inning put the Sharks ahead 2-0. Jack Power delivered the big blow an inning later with a two-run home run to right field, giving LIU a 4-0 lead. Both Fierenzi and Power finished the game with two hits each. Jared Hughes picked up his second win of the season after pitching six strong innings for the Sharks.
