Men’s tennis earns No. 3 seed in ODAC Tournament, will host quarterfinal match Tuesday

DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University men’s tennis earned the No. 3 seed in this week’s Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament. The Cougars will host No. 6 seed University of Lynchburg on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Averett (8-7, 7-2 ODAC) shared the third best record in the standings during the regular season, but won the head-to-head tiebreaker with Shenandoah University for the No. 3 seed. Washington and Lee University is the top seed for the tournament. The Cougars will host their quarterfinal matchup with Lynchburg on Tuesday at the Averett Tennis Courts.
