Niners Fall in Series Finale at UAB, 5-1

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Charlotte 49ers baseball team dropped the final game of its series at UAB, 5-1, on Sunday afternoon (April 28). Dante DeFranco , Spencer Nolan , and Noah Furcht all had a pair of hits in the game for Charlotte (20-24, 9-9 AAC), with DeFranco driving in the Niners' only run of the game. He brought home Brandon Stahlman after the latter singled, with Juan Correa also adding a late hit to give the Green and White eight in the game.
