Ramsingh, 4x800m relay win titles as Mammoths earn runner-up finish at NESCAC Championships

SOMERVILLE, Mass. – First-year Emma Ramsingh and the Mammoths 4x800m relay team won NESCAC titles as the Amherst College women’s track and field team finished second at the NESCAC Track and Field Championships on Saturday at Tufts University. The Mammoths tallied 136 points to earn their best-ever finish at the conference championship. Middlebury won its third straight title with 144 points. Amherst posted eight All-NESCAC performances, awarded to the top three finishers in each event, with Ramsingh breaking the Amherst record in the discus.
