Runnin’ Bulldogs Defeat Radford in Extras to Earn Series Victory

RADFORD, Va. – The Gardner-Webb University baseball team defeated Radford University 4-3 in 10 innings on Sunday afternoon taking the series two out of three. The Highlanders tied the game late before Alec Burns took them deep in extras. Gardner-Webb put up three runs in the top of the fourth inning with Peter Capobianco hitting a two-run home run.
