Softball ends regular season at No. 8 CNU

Newport News, Va. – The Meredith softball team concluded its 2024 regular season at No. 8 Christopher Newport University Sunday afternoon falling 13-0 and 8-0. The Angels were held hitless in game one. Freshman Grayson Cowart picked up the lone strikeout in the circle in her two innings of work. In game two, graduate student Hannah Weigle went four innings with four strikeouts. Senior Sarah Manis and freshman Abby Fowler picked up hits for the Angels.
