Softball Hawks Sweep Sunday Doubleheader Against Gordon

Bristol, R.I. – The Roger Williams University softball team swept a Sunday afternoon doubleheader against Gordon. The Hawks won the first game 10-0 in six innings, and the second game 8-3. Both games were played at Gordon College. In game one, Raegan Germano (Old Tappan, N.J.) got the start. Germano pitched the entire six inning game, allowing only two hits and zero runs. Germano also struck out five batters. On offense, Christina Denovellis (Rocky Hill, Conn.) led the Hawks with three hits along with an RBI and two runs scored.
