Softball Sets New Single-Season Stolen Bases Record In 4-1 Win Over Rhode Island
DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team picked up the 2-1 Atlantic 10 series win over Rhode Island Sunday with its 4-1 victory against the Rams. With three stolen bases in the game, the Flyers have now set a new single-season program record with 91 stolen bases. Prior to the game, seven departing team members were recognized during a Senior Day ceremony. Dayton improves to 28-18 on the season and 17-6 in league games while Rhode Island moves to 14-35 overall and 9-14 in conference action.
