Softball Sweeps Series Over JMU on Sunday

STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern softball team notched a 4-2 victory over James Madison on Saturday afternoon at Beautiful Eagle Field to sweep the conference series with the Dukes. Georgia Southern (27-20, 9-12 SBC) scored four runs on four hits in the fifth inning to take the lead 4-2, as its all it would need to secure the series sweep.
