Spartans Beaten By Buckeyes In Back-And-Forth Battle Sunday

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A back-and-forth battle took place on the diamond at Ohio State's Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium on Sunday afternoon and when the dust settled, Michigan State came up on the short end of a 10-6 decision, denying the Spartans the series sweep over the Buckeyes. MSU won the series after Friday night's 11-7 triumph before beating OSU in a slugfest, 17-12, on Saturday afternoon.
