Women’s Tennis: Scots Secure Playoffs Spot; Down Oles 6-3

OWATONNA, Minn. – The Macalester College women’s tennis team defeated St. Olaf 6-3 in the regular season finale today, 6-3. This win secures the No. 4 seed in the MIAC Playoffs which begin this week. Macalester’s regular season ends 11-6, 6-4 MIAC. The Scots secured all three doubles points. At first doubles, seniors Meg Ulrich (Carlisle, PA./Carlisle) and Sydney Ellison (Birmingham, Ala./Spain Park) edged out their opponents 8-6.
