Women’s track and field places seventh at NESCAC Championships

MEDFORD, Mass. — Seniors Isabel May , Alma Mackic , and Chrissy Aman earned All-NESCAC honors for top-three finishes, highlighting the conference championships Saturday for the Bates women’s track and field team. Bates finished in seventh place out of 11 schools with 47 points, just six points behind sixth-place Colby College. Meet Highlights May (Erving, Mass.) raced the finish in the 10,000 meters in 36:28.28, good for second place. Her time is the third-fastest in Bates history.
