Blue Jays Defeat Catholic in Final Home Game
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.– The Elizabethtown baseball team grabbed the Landmark Conference series win over Catholic on a very hot Monday afternoon. In their final home game of the season the Blue Jays defeated the Cardinals, 5-1. Both teams were able to score at least one run in the first inning and the following three innings were scoreless. In the top of the first, Catholic hit a RBI-single to left field to start off with a 1-0 lead. In the bottom half of the inning, David Woolley led off with a single to right center.
