Burks Takes Decathlon, McCoy Wins Pole Vault in Day 2 of MEC Championships

FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State Men's Track & Field team moved into third place after day two of the MEC Outdoor Championships on Monday. On the second day of the decathlon, junior Marquise Burks maintained his first-place finish with a score of 6,284 to repeat as MEC champion. He won four of the final five events, including the 110-mteter hurdles (15.62), discus (40.81m), pole vault (3.90m), and javelin (41.65m), setting new personal bests in the discus and javelin.
