Hauser Named NEWMAC Women’s Tennis Singles Athlete of the Week

WESTWOOD – Ayla Hauser (Knoxville, TN/Bearden) of the Smith College tennis team has been named the New England Women’s Men’s and Women’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women’s Tennis Singles Athlete of the Week on Monday morning. Hauser went undefeated in the No. 1 singles position with wins over both Springfield and Wheaton. She finishes her season 7-2 in the number one position with her only losses to nationally ranked opponents No. 2 Matia Cristiani and No. 14 Katya Shepherd Johnson.
