Joshua Selander Named MASCAC Baseball Player of the Week
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — Bridgewater State University sophomore first baseman Joshua Selander has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Baseball Player of the Week. Selander batted .563 (9-16) with his first three collegiate home runs to go along with a pair of doubles, three walks, ten runs and 14 RBI in a perfect 5-0 week for the Bears. The Granby, Connecticut native also posted a .571 on base percentage as well as an impressive 1.250 slugging percentage, and flawlessly recorded 37 chances (35 put outs, two assists) at first base.
