Lewis Central edges Fillies tennis in regular season dual finale

Bryan Clark The Shenandoah girls tennis team dropped a 6-3 home decision Saturday, April 27, against Lewis Central. The Fillies were scheduled to host a triangular with the Titans and Creston, but Creston didn’t make the trip after part of the community suffered storm damage the previous day. Gabi Jacobs and Brooke Hays earned wins at No. 1 and 3 singles to start the day for Shenandoah. Jacobs beat Lexi Opheim at No. 1 and Hays was an 8-5 winner over Liv Allely at No. 3.
