Owls among the logjam at the top entering final round of SLIAC men’s golf championships
METAMORA, Ill. - With 36 holes in the books, Mississippi University for Women men's golf team finds itself in a three-way tie atop the standings heading into Tuesday's third, and final, round of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) championships. The Owls, with an aggregate 584 (292-292) find themselves knotted with 6-time defending champion (and 12 titles overall) Webster University (295-289=584) and Spalding University (297-287=584), which has three titles and is the only other team to hoist the SLIAC trophy - besides Webster - since 2011.
