Softball earns No. 7 seed in ODAC Tournament, will play Friday at Randolph-Macon

DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University softball earned the No. 7 seed in this week’s Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament. The Cougars will play in the pod hosted by Randolph-Macon College, beginning Friday in Ashland, Virginia. Averett (16-22, 10-12 ODAC) will face off against the Yellow Jackets, ranked No. 7 nationally, in the opening game on Friday. Randolph-Macon, the No. 2 seed, will host a pod featuring Averett, No. 3 seed Roanoke College and No. 6 Guilford College.
