Adams named new THS softball coach

THOMASVILLE — Thomasville High did not have to look far for their new softball coach. The school announced on Monday that Cairo softball and baseball coach Randy Adams has been named the new coach of the Lady Bulldogs. Adams has served as a coach at Cairo for the last five years, including the last two as both the baseball and softball coach. His softball team finished 16-11 last season and went undefeated in Region 1-4A play, while the baseball team just concluded a 14-12, region championship season as well.
