Hornets, Eagles split at the net

PLATTSBURGH — When Plattsburgh and Beekmantown met on the court, Monday, all bets were off. The Hornet boys and Eagle girls walked away with victories in a tightly contested Champlain Valley Athletic Conference match. Plattsburgh was able to take a 3-2 win with Sebastian Bonnabesse and Andrew Bula winning the singles matches and John Cantwell and Vincenzo Gallichio winning the #2 doubles match. Cameron Danville and Xzavier Sorrell and Evan Latinville and Jacob Magiera claimed doubles victories for Beekmantown. Their matches were highly contested as both went to a decisive third set.
