Meet the top 5 quarterbacks for the 2025 NFL Draft
BOULDER, Colo. (BVM) – It’s no secret that quarterback is the most important position in the NFL and that is a big reason why multiple signal callers are taken early on each year in the draft.
In the 2024 NFL Draft, a record was set as six quarterbacks were taken within the first 12 picks. That began with elite prospects Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye going in the top three, while Michael Penix Jr., J.J. McCarthy and Bo Nix were selected between Nos. 8-12.
As it stands right now, next year’s crop of draft-eligible quarterbacks is not quite as deep, and also doesn’t feature a highly-touted prospect quite like Williams. Still, there is a lot of upside among the top signal callers expected to go pro next year, and depending on how some players perform this fall, the 2025 quarterback class could contain several first-round picks who hold plenty of potential.
