Puentes Tallied 11 Kills as Crusaders Battle Long Beach State
LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Redshirt freshman Zach Puentes tallied 11 kills and five digs, but top-ranked and No. 2 seed Long Beach State overcame a hot start by Belmont Abbey for a 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-11) victory over the seventh-seeded Crusaders. The Abbey saw its school-record-tying seven-game winning streak snapped to end the season at 21-5.
