Saturday Softball Games at Wells Cancelled In light of the upcoming closure of Wells College, Penn State Altoona softball’s doubleheader at its Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent, scheduled to happen this Saturday, May 4, has been cancelled. The Lions will receive a pair of forfeit wins, which will factor into the seeding for the upcoming AMCC postseason tournament. Wells announced on Monday, April 29, that the school would close at the end of this semester.
