Adams Named OVC Female Co-Field Athlete of the Week

MACOMB – After a strong weekend at the Drake Relays, Western Illinois’ track and field student-athlete Aliyah Adams was again recognized by the Ohio Valley Conference, earning Female Co-Field Athlete of the Week. Adams had a solid week at the prestigious Drake Relays, finishing second in the Women’s University/College Division long with a mark of 19 feet, 10.25 inches. Adams added a third place in the Women’s University/College Championship Division in the triple jump, with a best effort of 40-11.5.
