Alexander, Theobald gain NFL free agent tryout camp invitations

A pair of former Northwest Missouri State University football performers have earned National Football League free agent tryout camp invitations following the 2024 NFL Draft. Wide receiver Trevon Alexander and offensive lineman Andrew Theobald each received invites to NFL free agent tryout camps. Alexander gained his chance to the New York Jets, while Theobald got his opportunity with the Miami Dolphins. Alexander (Richmond, Mo.) capped his Bearcat career having played in 33 games with 76 receptions for 1,179 yards. Alexander tallied 12 touchdown receptions as a Bearcat.
