Cash Wins MEC Outdoor Track & Field Awards, Coach Chambers is Coach of the Year

In the Mountain East Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship that ended on Tuesday afternoon in Frostburg, Md., Wesleyan's Samantha Cash took home the Field Athlete of the Year and Most Valuable Performer awards. Cash won the Heptathlon scoring 4372 points. Cash also took first in the 400-meter hurdles. Wesleyan's Track and Field head coach Kelsey Chambers won the Women's Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Year award.
