Girls soccer: Warriors battle nationally ranked team, win pair of Badger Large tilts

Improving to 7-2-1 overall and currently ranked third in the latest Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Division 1 poll, the Waunakee girls’ soccer team took a midseason trip to Iowa, where they split games against a team from Illinois and one from Kansas. The Warriors sandwiched Badger Large Conference wins over Monona Grove and Watertown around them.
