HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Eagles blast Sayre; Indians win on road; Berea falls

Madison Southern’s offense put on an impressive display on Monday against a tough 11th Region rival on the road. The Eagles (11-11) collected 10 hits and rolled to an 11-2 win over Sayre (14-11) in Lexington. Southern scored eight times in the third inning and snapped a three-game losing streak. Lukas Ingram went the distance on the mound, allowing only three hits and two runs, while striking out eight. Zach Hudson was 3-for-5 with a triple and an RBI.
