Pointers Split at UWW, Hand Warhawks First Shutout of the Season
WHITEWATER, Wis. – The No. 19 UW-Stevens Point softball team (29-5, 9-3) handed UW-Whitewater (24-8, 7-5) its first shutout of the season in a split on Wednesday. The Pointers won a closely contested 1-0 game one, but UWW took game two, 4-2. Kaitlyn Roberts (Yorkville, Ill./Yorkville) was the UWSP offense in game one, hitting a solo home run to account for the only scoring. She had another hit in game two with a run scored.
