Shannon Flockhart Named BIG EAST Female Track Athlete Of The Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I.– It was announced Wednesday, May 1 that Providence College senior Shannon Flockhart (Longstanton, England) was named BIG EAST Female Track Athlete of the Week. Flockhart earned Female Track Athlete of the Week for her recent performance in the distance medley at the Penn Relays this past weekend in Philadelphia, Pa. Flockhart was a member of the team that placed second in the Distance Medley Championship of America with a school record time of 10:39.04. The time ranks second all-time in NCAA history.
