Vikings edged at Ripon

RIPON, Wis. — The Lawrence University baseball team fell 4-3 to Ripon College on Wednesday in a Midwest Conference game at Francis Field. Ripon scored a run without the benefit of a hit in the bottom of the eighth to break a 3-3 tie. Jacob Charon was 2-for-2 with two doubles, two runs batted in and a run scored to pace Lawrence’s seven-hit attack.
