Bobcats Drop First Round MEC Contest to Frostburg
In the first round of the Mountain East Conference women's lacrosse tournament, Frostburg State University pummeled West Virginia Wesleyan College's net with 53 shots, 39 of them on goal, to take a 24-7 victory, Wednesday, in Frostburg. The Frostburg defense was tenacious as well, causing 24 Wesleyan turnovers to Frostburg's 12 and claimed 26 ground balls to Wesleyan's 10. Twelve players scored for the Bobcats of Frostburg.
