Cardinals Defensive Lineman Jacob Spencer Drafted to CFL’s Edmonton Elks

EDMONTON – Saginaw Valley State University defensive lineman Jacob Spencer was selected in the eighth round of the Canadian Football League (CFL) draft by the Edmonton Elks. Spencer is the seventh former Cardinal who is active with a professional football organization. The Brantford, Ontario native is the only former player from SVSU currently in the CFL.
