Eagles Continue Winning Ways, Sweep App State

BOONE, N.C. - The Georgia Southern softball team ran its winning streak to six with a pair of victories against App State Thursday afternoon at Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium. The Eagles won the first game 2-0 behind a strong pitching performance from Anslie Pettit and Morgan Kendrick before rolling in the second game 10-5 thanks to long balls from Delanie Thames and Faith Barth .
