High school roundup: Rose, Conley soccer poised for playoffs

The J.H. Rose girls’ soccer team held off a Manteo club on Wednesday night that entered the match with a 13-1-1 record, taking down the Redskins 3-2 at home. Rose (12-3-1, 7-3) got two goals and an assist from sophomore Zoe Zambardino, and fellow sophomore Willow Price scored the other goal for the Rampants.
