Hopkins Sweeps F&M in Centennial Conference Semifinals
BALTIMORE, MD – The seventh-ranked Johns Hopkins women’s tennis team hosted Franklin & Marshall in the semifinals of the Centennial Conference Tournament Thursday night, sweeping the Diplomats 5-0 to secure their spot in the Blue Jays’ 17 th consecutive Conference Championship. Sydney Langer and Kamila Wong opened the match with an 8-2 win on Number 2 doubles, with Ashley Chang and Lia Melvin coming in just behind with an 8-2 win of their own on Number 3 doubles before Sophia Kim and Jay Xiao completed the sweep following their 8-4 victory at the top flight.
