Prep girls golf: Bears finish third; Bennett, Nessen make all-region team

On the final day of the Region 11 girls golf championship, there was little doubt who the season winner would be. Still, the Wolves made a statement Tuesday at the Preston Golf and Country Club. Back to full strength, Green Canyon had two good rounds to end the regular season and on the final day edged Ridgeline by three strokes. The Riverhawks are the region champions, but the Wolves certainly looked primed to make another run at state, along with their region foes.
