SMU transfer G Zhuric Phelps commits to Texas A&M
Boots Radford replacement? Texas A&M continued their transfer portal crusade on Tuesday, adding SMU guard Zhuric Phelps to their 2024-25 squad. Phelps started for the past two seasons for the Mustangs, averaging just over 16 points per game. Based on that stat alone, Phelps certainly seems like a prime candidate to become a scoring option to replace outgoing senior Tyrece Radford, to complement Wade Taylor and Manny Obaseki.
