GROTON, Conn. — Stonington scored five runs in the fourth inning — three after two outs — in a 6-4 Eastern Connecticut Conference inter-division softball victory over Fitch at Washington Park. Cami Brown had a two-run single to finish off the fourth-inning scoring for the Bears (11-2). Chloe Miner (2 hits) had an RBI single and Melanie Verbridge tripled to score Bri Plew.
