Austin Heinen Council Bluffs Nonpareil A hat trick from Brayden Shepard boosted Class 3A No. 1 Lewis Central past Class 2A No. 3 Glenwood 3-0 on Thursday evening at Titan Stadium. The Hawkeye 10 Conference heavyweights traded some shots and possession in the first 20 minutes of the game. In the 30th minute, Shepard sent a penalty kick past the keeper after a hand ball foul against the Rams, to take a 1-0 lead at the half.
