Baseball Drops Series Opener at North Central
NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Elmhurst University baseball team dropped the opening game of a three-game set with North Central College, 10-8, Friday afternoon on the road. Elmhurst (10-27, 4-14 CCIW) held a lead through the first four innings, but late-inning pitching struggles and a come-from-behind effort fell short and caused the Jays to drop the series opener with the Cardinals (16-22, 9-9 CCIW).
