Jenks Trojans’ girls state title defense ends in heartbreaking loss to Deer Creek
JENKS — The hopes of Jenks' girls repeating as state champions in soccer came to a heartbreaking end Thursday evening as the previously unbeaten Trojans lost 2-1 to Deer Creek in a double shootout in a Class 6A quarterfinal game at Allan Trimble Stadium. It also marked an upset in a battle in the last two teams to win the Class 6A title. The Antlers was the girls’ state championship in 2022.
