Kershner Selected as DiPasquale Male Scholar-Athlete Recipient

University of Rochester men’s basketball graduate student Mitchell Kershner was named the 2024 Peter DiPasquale Male Scholar-Athlete Award winner, as announced at the University of Rochester Department of Athletics and Recreation Awards Dinner on Thursday, May 2. A five-year member of the UR men’s basketball program, Kershner appeared in 84 games, making 42 starts, tallying 478 points, 240 rebounds, 78 assists, 57 steals and 11 blocks. For his career, Kershner shot 43.7 percent from the floor and knocked down 78 three-pointers, becoming a key contributor and starting more than 75 percent of the team’s contests over the past two years.…
