Lara Schmid named Women’s Tennis Championship’s “A-Game” Scholar-Athlete
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lara Schmid of Washburn University was named the Association's Mammoth "A Game" Scholar-Athlete of the 2024 Women's Tennis Championship. The top six teams from the regular season met in Edmond, Okla., May 3-5 for the Association's postseason championship tournament. Among all the student-athletes competing in the tournament, Washburn's Lara Schmid was selected as the championship's "A Game" Scholar-Athlete, presented by Mammoth.
