Lienert Honored with John Vitone Sportsmanship Award

University of Rochester men’s track & field senior sprinter Mitch Lienert was named the 2024 John Vitone Sportsmanship Award winner, as announced at the University of Rochester Department of Athletics and Recreation Awards Dinner on Thursday, May 2. A two-time Liberty League Champion and a 14-time medalist, Lienert served as the team captain this season and holds four school records in the indoor 60 meters and 200 meters and the outdoor 4×100-meter and 4×400-meter relays.
